DEMO workbook

Follow fictional examples with costs and results already entered. See the difference between money available before owner labor and profit after the labor target.

CLEAN workbook

Start with blank business inputs and editable fee assumptions. Eight worksheets guide setup, product costs, order comparisons, scenarios, records and monthly review.

14-page printable PDF

A directory, instructions on page two, one completed example and eleven blank forms. Print and write by hand; this is not an interactive fillable PDF.

A decision, not a promise

A higher sales price is only one possible answer.

The model helps you compare a price change with less production time, a different shipping offer or a narrower custom-work scope. It does not predict whether buyers will accept the offer.

Four pricing responses: test a higher offer, simplify scope, improve the process, or pause and decline; each lists its inputs and outputs

Original teaching diagram from the book. These are alternative decisions, not guaranteed outcomes.

Built for small, evidence-based decisions.

  • Product dropdowns and distinct yellow input cells.
  • Current-order versus candidate-price comparison.
  • Discount, shipping and attributed advertising scenarios.
  • Discount limits tied to your selected margin target.
  • Values-only historical records, so new rates do not rewrite old orders.
  • A five-product decision sheet and overhead reconciliation.

Know the limits before buying.

  • USD planning for the stated U.S. fee model.
  • State dropdown is a record label—not a tax or legal rules engine.
  • 30 product rows and 100 historical-order rows.
  • No Etsy connection, automatic quote saving or bookkeeping integration.
  • No macros. Formula protection is passwordless, not a security control.
  • Windows Excel tested; Mac Excel and Google Sheets not live-tested.

How to use it

  1. Learn with DEMO. Open Start Here, then Instructions.
  2. Review your assumptions. Check official fees and enter measured product costs in a copy of CLEAN.
  3. Compare an order. Review hours, revenue, costs and the candidate result before selecting an action.
  4. Save the evidence. Paste snapshot values into the historical log, then review completed orders and actual overhead.

Questions before purchase

Does the book require a paid spreadsheet?

No. Its method, formulas and paper exercises stand alone. The toolkit provides the convenience of repeated calculation and records.

Does choosing my state update tax rates automatically?

No. The state field records your location only. Review fee assumptions and tax treatment independently; consult a qualified adviser where needed.

What is included in the download?

One ZIP containing DEMO.xlsx, CLEAN.xlsx, the printable worksheet PDF and an English usage guide. No Word manuscript, Kindle file or paperback book is included.

What has been checked?

The workbooks passed 24 calculation checks and were opened, recalculated and saved in Windows Microsoft Excel 16. Examples are fictional. These checks do not establish future sales results or compatibility with untested applications.

What can I do with the files?

Adapt them for your own business's internal use. Redistribution and resale are not included. Review the license and refund terms before purchase.
